1

The tool of the unspeakables: a syringe filled with 1d8 doses of an ominous liquid (I used transparent red, but I’ll leave it to dm’s choice), whoever this needle pierces and injects it liquid into will harbour an aberration of the dm’s choice (one could roll for it, like I planned to do, but either way). Regardless of the actual life cycle of said aberration, it will always start off smaller than a tick or flea, and after a minute of incubation will instantly grow to its adult size, usually killing whoever the syringe pierced. If it is removed from the host. It will die instantly, saving the hosts life. It’s thought that whoever you took this cursed item from stole it from an incredibly powerful warlock, and for all the party knows he’s still pursuing the thief [/u/themanwhosfacebroke]

2

Doll of regrets: a stuffed doll made by cloth and wool (idk much about how dolls are made, but think something homemade by a simple peasant with improvised materials), this doll will change its appearance to resemble someone the nearest person/character has a regret relating to (someone they killed or betrayed, a lover they broke up with, their child they haven’t seen in years, etc), promoting the target to keep the doll with them over the course of their travels. After 1d4+1 days, a construct resembling exactly the person the doll imitated manifests randomly within a 1d10 mile/kilometre (different measurements, I know, but I wanted to keep that part simple). The construct is made of whatever earth is around the player (stone if they’re in a cave, sand if they’re around a beach, dirt if they’re in a forest, etc), and is CE, has an ac of 14, as well as 5d6 hp, automatically fails any intelligence, charisma, or wisdom checks against anyone outside of the target creature, and is immune to psychic damage, as well as being charmed, frightened, fatigued, poisoned, or knocked unconscious. It can attack with any weapon the person imitated would use or have proficiency in, and will also have their unarmed strikes deal 1d8 instead of 1d4. If the construct is killed in any way, the doll can be seen crying before vanishing approximately 10 minutes after the construct’s destruction. The doll will then reappear in another location, however, will be fated to never meet the original host again. The construct cannot be manifested if there is nothing that can be considered earthly within the radius of the host, and can only morph to resemble humanoid entities. It’s unknown if the doll is crying involuntarily, or if there’s someone or something looking through its eyes [/u/themanwhosfacebroke]

3

Jar of screaming teeth: what appears to be a jar of 5d20 human teeth if someone opens it and removes a tooth it will spontaneously grow in size up to 3 feet and will sprout humanoid arms and legs. These “teeth monsters” are considered monstrosities, have an ac of 10, 1d12 hp, and can cast toll the dead at level 1 at will (can be changed into another sound related attack cantrip). They can also absorb other teeth from the jar, and when they do so they gain another 1d12 hp and +1 ac up to 15. If half or more of the teeth are absorbed into a single tooth monster, they will more into a completely new being. This more powerful tooth monster takes the form of a centipede whose segments are teeth, as well as having legs exactly like that of its smaller brethren. It has 2d100+however many teeth are absorbed, 15 ac, and can cast instead destructive wave at will. The story behind this jar is unknown, and even the finder of it can’t say for sure who would make such a disgusting item, and you probably don’t want to find out [/u/themanwhosfacebroke]

4

The traveller’s quill: a quill that drips a glowing blue ink, drawing a closed shop into any surface will open a portal to any of the elemental planes (I did the basic 4, but it’s really up the the dm how he will roll for it). This was most definitely used once by a traveller of the planes of existence, but it’s unknown where he may be [/u/themanwhosfacebroke]

5

Blade of soul: a sharp blade of the dm’s choice, when someone is sliced with this object, they gain the power of an astral projection. This projection can be summoned to add to the user’s ac, attack themselves, and have an extra ability of the dm’s choice. Whoever made this must have found the secrets to manipulating their soul and/or life energy, and you probably don’t wish to meet them, let alone have them your enemy [/u/themanwhosfacebroke]

They would then be bound to their contract on pain of a curse. The players may use the Ledger in a similar way, although it is greatly weakened without the hag's power. Once per full moon, a player who can cast at least 5th level spells may use it (with the constant of both parties) to seal a contract. If it is broken, the target is afflicted by the nightmare option of the dream spell for one full moon cycle. The messenger says only "Oathbreaker." and then departs.
