Can apply to mounts other than horses, too.

You fall off the horse and suffer some minor damage. You can try to ride it again.

The horse throws you off and then runs away (in a random direction). If you can track it down, you can try to ride it again.

The horse runs away (in a random direction), taking you along with it.

The horse kicks you hard. The blow causes moderate damage, sends you tumbling backward, and stuns you.

The horse refuses to let you ride (and throws you off if you're already riding it). It might be more cooperative tomorrow (50% chance).

The horse is driven to exhaustion or suffers a minor injury. It moves at half speed until it spends an entire day recovering.

The horse goes berserk and starts attacking anyone and anything nearby (including you, other horses, your cart, etc).

The horse becomes particularly ornery around you. To get it to do anything (move, stop, change direction, etc), you must succeed at a roll each time.

The horse takes off and immediately blunders into danger (natural hazard, group of hostile creatures, etc).

The rough ride causes you to drop your weapon or other item. You can turn around and go back to look for it.
