NPC Generator [Post Apocalyptic Careers]

Originally built by Clarence Redd the designer at FrostBite Books who are responsible for M-Space, Odd Soot and other other d100 games using the Mythras engine.

The generator assumes that the occupation or general role of the NPC is already known by the GM. Ultimately, this is driven by player choice. Do the PCs enter a hardware shop? Chat with a police patrolling the neighbourhood? This gives the GM a foundation to add the following details to.

21-60

Personality Type: Average. Neurotic, not open to new experiences. Passably agreeable and conscientious.

61-80

Personality Type: Self-Centred. Disagreeable extrovert, not very open to new experiences. Unconscientious. Young males are most common in this group. Girls below 15 and women above 60 hardly ever appear here.

Motivation: Have Fun. Drinking beer, going to the theatre, playing games, gossiping - nothing is more important to joy seekers.

Motivation: Do nothing. Rest and relaxation is seen as the basis for a good life. Anything interfering with that must go. From the outside, it might look like laziness.

Motivation: Altruism. Even the tiniest creature deserves kindness. A person with this motivation strongly believe we should all help each other.
